Eric Aluya is one of the Nigerian video fashion vlogger and Blogger, best known for the Eric’s Fashion video Vlog series for Ankara & African Designs, often featuring Different fashion designers such as Aladuke, Ankara Zone and other fashion slayers. Eric’s YouTube channel was one of the first African Fashion channel to reach 115k subscribers.

Eric Olarenwaju Aluya is a Vlogger whose goal is to promote the African fashion online. He does this via his blog, vlog and you tube. His you tube channel xclusive style is currently the 184th most viewed channel in Nigeria in all categories and 144,000 across the world. His focus is on bringing the latest fashion style for women majorly in Africa and across the world. No wonder he has so many viewers all over. Ladies who want the latest styles visit his you tube channel or blog to get mouthwatering styles that they can sew to be seen as a fashionista.

Education Life

Eric Aluya has a humble beginning. An indigene of Delta state and Ogun state, Eric started his educational career at the Jerry Joel Nursery and Primary School before proceeding to Ikeja High school for his secondary school education. He did not stop there, he went further to obtain his Bsc at the University of Lagos where he studied Physics. His quest to gain more knowledge in ICT made him to enroll at the AI multimedia academy to study motion graphics and 3D animation. Still not satisfied with that, he enrolled at the Ace Academy to study Graphic Design and Web Design. He also joined the Divine Computer school where he studied Microsoft Animation. To upgrade his knowledge Digital marketing and blogging.
He started blogging ‘Owambe Styles’ since 2010 and his you tube channel, xclusive style 3 years ago. He sees this as a career. Since his major niche is fashion,  he would have continue blogging about suit for men but he changed to blogging African fashion for women when he saw that he was not having an headway then. Now, xclusive style has nothing less than 1.2million views on his you tube channel monthly as he promotes the African Design every day. Eric, who agrees that the lack of job in the country has put so many youths in a precarious situation, urged the youths not to relent but look inward and access every opportunity. He started as a teacher in several tutorials and home coaching. Even though it has not been easy, he is not where he used to be.

He is the brain behind Visual Concept Multimedia Academy-a computer school which teaches students on several ICT related courses. According to him, he conceived the idea of the computer school ten years ago. As such everything he did was to see his dream come alive. Fortunately, he achieved it 2019 with students who enrolled for several courses in the school. He agrees that there are still many challenges in blogging and vlogging, especially that of network and copyright, he believes these challenges are surmountable. He encouraged people involved in the work of art-artistes, comedians, fashion designers e.t.c to promote their work using digital marketing.
